| Winner: McLaughlin/Park/Hough IrShCh LESTANNONS GOLDFINGER AT INISHGLORA d.Br. J Hough 7.11.98 Sire: ShCh Thendara Kennedy Dam: Lestannons Eliza Doolittle "Fox" was handled on this occasion by Dorothy Park. He has won Best in show at Open show level and has won many groups at I.K.C. Ch. shows. He was awarded C.C. and Best in Show at the South of England Irish Setter Ch.Show the following day and has also 2 reserve C.C.'s to his credit. He was awarded Top Gundog under the I.C.P/Pedigree competition held in Ireland 2001. He also delighted his owners by winning Reserve N.I. Showdog of the Year 2001 (all breeds) the previous weekend. |

| Runner Up: Archibalds ABINVALE CAPRICCO Br. Exh 7.6.97 Sire: Ch IrCh Papeta Philosopher Dam: Glenroth Irish Mist. (Golden Retriever) "Tyler" qualified by winning Green star, Best of Breed and Group3. at the Dubling Dog Show 27.12.01 he has 3 green stars and 7 reserve green stars to his credit and was also Best of Breed at this Society's open Show Nov.2001 under breed specialist Fiona Brightley. It was especially pleasing for the owners to handle this dogs litter sister Abinvale Cantilena to the Semi finals of this competition. On the day "Tyler" was handled by daughter Emma who now co-owns him. Emma will representing NI at the K.C.J.O. finals at Crufts in March 2002. Third: Cummings HOOKWOOD FLASH BLACK Br. Welch 18.11.98 Sire: ShCh Robippa Flashback Dam: ShCh IrShCh Hookwood Shes So Modern "Lizzie" has had success at Ch.show level and won 2nd Limit bitch at Belfast Ch. show 2001. She has also won B.O.B.'s at Open show level. |

Show Puppy of the Year 1999 (all breeds) and is half brother to the N.I. Gundog puppy of the Year winner. |
